Jessica Jarvis | 2013-2014

Jessica Jarvis is a Los Angeles based composer for film, TV, and advertising. Since graduating from Berklee College of Music, she has contributed to a number of critically acclaimed shows such as Netflix’s Series of Unfortunate Events, Amazon Prime’s Dangerous Book For Boys, and an upcoming comedy feature starring Iliza Shlesinger. Most recently, she scored the independent feature film An Exquisite Meal, written and directed by Robert Bruce Carter, which premiered at Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival in March 2020.

Emily Joseph | 2014-2015

Emily Joseph is a Los Angeles-based composer, score programmer, and arranger. After graduating Berklee College of Music in 2015 with a Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring and a minor in Conducting, Emily moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in the film industry (with plenty of support from the WFI initiators who came before her!). Since then, she has been busy as a score programmer and arranger on a number of blockbuster feature films, including The Angry Birds Movie, Despicable Me 3, and Smallfoot.

Natalia Perez | 2015-2016

Natalia Perez is a composer for film, television, and games. You can find her music department credits for hit shows like The Politician, The Resident, Goliath, as well as Nintendo and independently published games. She also produces her own artistic albums, the latest of which is titled "Abilities." Natalia is always looking for fresh and unique ways to serve a project's story. She is currently on the team of Emmy-winning composer Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, POSE).

Victoria Ruggiero | 2016-2017

Victoria Ruggiero is a Los Angeles-based music editor, composer, and pianist. Upon graduating Berklee College of Music, Ruggiero began assisting seasoned music editor Nick South (Juno, Mean Girls, Wedding Crashers). She quickly began working on major motion pictures such as The Front Runner, directed by Jason Reitman, and Disney+’s Timmy Failure, directed by Oscar-winner Tom McCarthy. She has also assisted on the temp score for pop star Sia’s film Music. Following the success of assisting South, she became the lead music editor for Netflix’s Original Series Elite and Anna Elizabeth James’ feature film Deadly Illusions starring Kristin Davis.

Marcelle Simpson | 2017-2018

After graduating Berklee College of Music in 2018, Marcelle moved to Los Angeles where she began working with the award-winning music editorial company, JTN Music. Her most recent work as an assistant music editor can be found on projects such as The Good Place, Better Call Saul, Ozark, and Spaceforce. Marcelle is thrilled that she has the opportunity to work with fellow WFI alumna every day and hopes to be a resource to upcoming generations of WFI members!

Irene Garcia | 2018-2019

Irene Garcia is an up and coming Los Angeles based music editor.  She is currently under collaboration with Emmy-winning composer, Joel Goodman.  On top of music editing, Irene is also emerged in music business for film and works with music licensing companies such as Oovra Music, ICON,  Spot On, and Red Matter.

Rebekah Novinger | 2021-2022

As a composer in many forms, Rebekah Novinger’s music has filled the theater, concert hall, and studio. Coming from Rochester MN, she went to Boston to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Berklee College of Music focusing in Composition, Film Scoring and Conducting. She has been involved in numerous music collaborations from creating award-winning Shakespeare-derived musicals to releasing singer-songwriter works, as well as composing student films, and contemporary concert music. Rebekah’s music crosses into all styles in a desire to tug at the unreached emotions of those with reaching ears.
